Little Lee - She stood stoic in the middle of a busy road as a tiny little kitten in 2020! She was hoping her life would change. Rescued when she was just skin and bones, her foster mom took amazing care of her to help her gain weight. Due to the extreme overpopulation problem on the island, she's waited patiently for her day to come. She loves everyone and is as sweet and friendly as she looks. Loves to receive pets and be wherever you are. She is still on the island and we are hoping to get her to MN soon! ********** *********************************************** Sweet little Julie was found on a mountain road in the interior of the island of Puerto Rico. Our partner rescue had this to say about her...She was extremely scared and skinny. It took some time to win her trust with treats, but we didn't give up and she found the courage to trust us. She is now a social butterfly and has many friends. She loves to play with dogs of all sizes and is full of energy. he is around 2 years old and arrived in MN prior to Christmas... she is still somewhat timid after all she has been through but is adjusting in her foster home and her cute little personality is starting to come out. She follows the lead of the other dogs in the home and that is helping her with her confidence. For Julie's forever home a fenced in yard would be best for this little lady and in addition, would do best in a home with another dog and some patience. She is a great little gal who just wants to be loved! *************************** Meet Maverick! this one and a half year old, is a true sweetheart! Outgoing rescue who's love of everyone makes him a shelter favorite. He's been best friends to our smallest shelter rescue and is happy to meet and greet anyone who comes his way. A beautiful addition to any size family. We'd love to see Maverick have his chance at a forever home and get his chance to leave the island and head to MN! |
